The most popular show on Netflix globally, Wednesday, is back this month for a second, gripping season! This horror comedy series, which has garnered over 252 million views in its first season, follows Wednesday Addams (Scream’s Jenna Ortega), an emotionally reserved and curious girl who possesses psychic powers inherited from her mother, Morticia Addams (The Mask of Zorro’s Catherine Zeta-Jones). Wednesday attends Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts, and is thrown into the middle of a murder mystery that links back to her parents’ time there.
In the second season, Wednesday continues developing her psychic abilities while trying to prevent the death of her friend, Enid Sinclair (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’s Emma Myers). Wednesday won four Primetime Emmy Awards for main title theme music, makeup, costume, and production design. Like its first installation, the show’s second season will see a few episodes directed by filmmaker Tim Burton.
Season two kicks off with its first part on August 6, with its second part premiering September 3rd.

Death Inc. (Muertos S.L.) is a Spanish-language comedy series based in a funeral home, set after the fallout of the founder’s passing. Dámaso Carrillo, the founder’s right-hand man, thinks that the funeral home would thrive if he assumed charge, only to find his plans foiled when the owner’s widow takes over operations along with her clueless son-in-law. While threatened by competition, the funeral home’s staff also deal with a scandal, with Dámaso plotting to undermine the leadership in the shadows.
While the first two seasons, which premiered on Netflix on July 31st, have been acquired by Netflix from Movistar Plus+, the third season will be an exclusive Netflix release and gets its premiere on August 21st.

If you want a dose of sitcom humor, Netflix’s new original comedy series, Leanne, created by and starring stand-up comedian Leanne Morgan, is out on July 31. The sitcom follows Leanne’s life after her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman, sending her into a spiral. With the help of her family, Leanne starts from scratch, throwing herself back into the dating game after decades as she deals with the consequences of her marriage crumbling and menopause.
The sitcom has a 16-episode run and features a multi-cam style.
