The NFL Sunday Ticket is expensive, costing fans upwards of $480 a year to watch endless football. To take some of the sting out of that price tag, Google and YouTube just launched an NFL Sunday Ticket Member Benefit program full of hardware discounts, free trials, and other perks.
With the 2025 NFL season kicking off in just a few weeks, people are likely signing up for the NFL Ticket or trying to figure out which streaming services will show the most games. If you opt for the Sunday ticket through YouTube or YouTube TV, you’ll be able to watch almost every game all season long. Additionally, you can now access “special partner offers from official NFL sponsors and Google products.” Yes, Google is sending emails alerting users to a few discounts and perks just for signing up.
Google knows the NFL Sunday Ticket is a big expense, which is why it’s offering discounts to new or existing customers. And now, those who do sign up can technically get it for free, as long as they take advantage of nearly all the 10+ perks for this new benefit program, valued at around $460.
If you have the Sunday Ticket, here’s what you can get from YouTube or its NFL sponsors:
- Google TV Streamer: $15 off
- Pixel Watch 2 or 3: $50 off
- Pixel Buds Pro 2: $50 off
- YouTube Premium: 3-month free trial for new members (or 50% off for existing users)
- Google One: 3-month free trial
- Fitbit Charge 4, Versa 4, or Sense 2: $50 off
- Nest Thermostat Gen 4: $50 off
- Uber: 3-month free Uber One trial
- Best Buy Plus Membership: 50% off
- Oakley: 20% off select eyewear
From what we’re seeing, as long as you sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket, you can take advantage of each one of these deals. Google’s $50 off hardware deals are available until the end of 2025, while the YouTube Premium and Google One deals expire next summer.
After you subscribe to the NFL Sunday Ticket, you should receive an email from YouTube highlighting these new benefits. From there, you’ll be able to click through and get discounts on all the hardware mentioned above, or easily redeem some of the free trials and such.
Nothing here is amazing, but if you were already planning on getting a Pixel Watch or upgrading an old TV with the Google TV streamer, now you can do so with a nice discount.
As a returning customer who paid full price for the NFL Sunday Ticket last season, I would rather have just received a bigger discount for renewing my subscription for the 2025-26 season. I also already pay for YouTube Premium, and I already have a smartwatch. It is what it is, but I’m sure a few new or returning Sunday Ticket customers can take advantage of these deals. And who knows, maybe YouTube will have more to offer later in the year.
Oh, and in case you didn’t know, Verizon will give you the NFL Sunday Ticket for free when you upgrade your phone or get a new cell plan.
