Motorola Razr Ultra is now $300 off at Amazon — that’s a new low price for Prime Day

If you’re looking for a new foldable phone, you can’t go wrong with the Motorola Razr Ultra. Not only does it have one of the best flip-foldable designs we’ve ever used, but it also offers a great experience with strong battery life and performance, plus features you still can’t get with rival Samsung phones.

Better still, you can pick up the Motorola Razr Ultra for just $999 over at Amazon. That’s 23% off the normal price, and a saving of $300 compared to what you’d normally pay. However, the deal only applies to the Pantone Scarab (green) and Pantone Rio Red color options. If you want the Pantone Mountain Trail (brown) hue, it’s available for the same price at Best Buy.

While the newer Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 may be the best foldable flip phone at the moment, there are a lot of great things about the Motorola Razr Ultra. The least of which is the design with the 4-inch pOLED cover display that can run full Android apps regardless of whether they’ve been specifically designed to do so.

Which doesn’t sound like much, but it does give you a little more versatility in how you use your phone. Including the ability to get more done without having to unfold the main screen first.

Motorola also managed to squeeze in significantly better battery life, with the Ultra lasting 15 hours and 42 minutes during our testing — compared to the Z Flip 7’s relatively meager 12 hours and 24 minutes. Not to mention charging much faster and reaching 72% battery in just 30 minutes.

Other benefits include the 165Hz refresh rate on both screens, high-tier performance from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and solid photo performance from the pair of 50MP cameras. Plus, while you don’t get all the main benefits of Galaxy AI, Moto has included its own suite of AI features, including image generation, notification summaries, and some features you may have come to expect from Google Gemini.

Sadly, there isn’t quite as much software support, with Motorola only offering three years of Android support compared to Samsung’s seven. However, while the phone may not last as long as you would have liked, at least you’ll have a great time in the meantime.
