The vicious cyberbullying campaign lasted over a year before the FBI was able to linnk the messages to a sender, whose identity is revealed in the documentary’s shocking conclusion. The discovery sends shockwaves through the tight-knit community of Beal City, Michigan, and it clearly stunned Netflix viewers as well, given how viral chatter about “Unknown Number: The High School Catfish” has been on social media.

‘The Thursday Murder Club’ (2025)

While it’s no Oscar contender, sometimes getting lost in the twists and turns of a charming who-dunnit is the perfect way to spend a cozy (almost) fall afternoon. Harry Potter alum Chris Columbus directs this adaptation of Richard Osman’s bestselling novel about a group of retirees in an upscale retirement community who swap bingo cards for crime-solving. But when their home’s co-owner winds up dead, it’s up to these amateur sleuths to uncover the culprit to keep Cooper’s Chase from closing its doors.
The club’s members are as delightful as they are sharp: Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), a former spy; Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley), a retired psychiatrist; Ron (Pierce Brosnan), a former union firebrand; and their newest recruit, Joyce (Celia Imrie), a retired nurse. With such a stellar ensemble, “The Thursday Murder Club” is just as lively and fun as the source material, and it’s a must-watch for fans of “Knives Out.”

‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ (2025)

“K-Pop Demon Hunters” is Netflix’s biggest hit of the summer, dominating not one, but two spots in Netflix’s top 10 now that the streamer’s released a sing-along version. Whether you’re a K-pop fan or not, I guarantee you’ll have a blast with this one. It’s from Sony Pictures Animation, the same studio behind the award-winning “Spider-Verse” films and “The Mitchells vs. the Machines,” which continues to redefine modern animation as we know it.
This bubble-gum pop animated adventure follows chart-topping idols Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo)—a hit K-pop trio who moonlight as demon hunters, channeling the power of their harmony to keep darkness at bay. But they face their toughest challenge yet when a group of demons disguised as a rival boy band starts topping the charts and stealing the souls of their fans.
